Yesterday my SIL, Lisa at Simple Kind of Wonderful, sent me some blog love and nominated me for a Liebster Award. I couldn't be more excited to meet and begin to follow some new bloggers (maybe pick up a follower or two myself).

Questions for me from Lisa

1. what is your dream vacation? - Our goal was to honeymoon at Dreams Resort & Spa in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and we never made it there. To cut costs we drove to Copper Harbor, MI and although we enjoyed the week together we froze our backsides off. So, if I had the option Mr. You Betcha and I would take a second honeymoon somewhere romantic, sunny, and all inclusive and I would love for that place to be in Hawaii but I'm really not picky.
2. what is your biggest pet peeve? - When the kitchen is completely clean, the dishwasher has been emptied, and dirty dishes get put in the sink instead of the dishwasher. COME ON PEOPLE! HELP ME OUT HERE!
3. looking ahead, what is your five year plan? - Sometimes, I don't know what the 5 day plan is much less 5 years... When we moved into our house it was supposed to be on a five year plan. May will mark 4 years and I don't see us going anywhere soon. Maybe in the next 5 years we will finally start to make plans to build our dream home, 20 acres just out of town would be wonderful. I expect us to have at least one more child by then and I WILL BE skinnier!
4. if you could meet anyone, dead or alive, who would it be and why? - I would have coffee with my Great Grandma Verol one last time. She passed away when I was 13 years old and I miss her alot. We were very close and I would love to tell her about my life today, introduce her to my son, and give her one last hug.
5. what makes you feel like a kid again? - Going to the county fair, takes me back to when I was a 4-Her and pretty much lived in the horse barns for the entire week of the fair.
6. what is your favorite movie? - This is a hard one, I will pretty much watch anything but if I am going to veg on the couch you will probably find one of the seasons of Friends in the DVD player. Forgive me, not technically a movie, but whatever.
7. what is your jam? - Right now....Run by Flo Rida but it changes ALL the time.
8. whats your current ringtone? - Home by Dierks Bentley and I should update that.
9. what inspired you to start your blog? - Like many others I wanted an outlet and a place to try to make myself accountable on my weight loss journey.
10. what is your favorite memory? - My first kiss with Mr. You Betcha, when I think about it I always smile.
11. who is your celebrity free pass? - We have honestly never talked about it but I would have to put Channing Tatum, Chris Hemsworth (as Thor), Paul Walker, Chris Evans....Did you really expect me to pick just one?

11 facts about ME

• I am a Mountain Dew addict, hard habit to kick but I am doing better.
• Mr. You Betcha and I are high school sweethearts. This June will mark 10 years together.
• I was raised with horses in my life since the day I was born. They will always be my first true love.
• I had my own motor cycle, after we had Little Man it wasn't getting rode much so we decided to sell it. I miss it and will someday have another.
• I'm a foodie at heart, LOVE to cook & HATE to clean. Some of my favorite compliments are on the creations that come out of my kitchen.
• We are BIG football fans. SKOL Vikings!
• I enjoy garage saleing on Summer Saturday Mornings with my mama. Ain't no shame in a good deal ladies.
• I have a half-sister and we are night and day but I loves her anyway.
• Our house was built in the 80's, the bathtub is pink, the kitchen counters are bright orange, and there is carpet on the walls going down into my basement. Can we say work in progress? In our defense, we have done TONS of work to the outside and are tackling the inside next.
• I have tried and tried but I DON'T like beer. Mostly mixed drinks for this girl.
• I am a terrible speller and often pre-type Facebook statuses, blog comments, and hand written notes in Word just to spell check them.
